This painting was inspired by a copse of banana plants in Waikiki. There were no bananas or flowers, but the shoots themselves glowed in blues, golds, blacks, greens, even a little bit of orange. Their energy captured my imagination and I took at least a dozen photos before continuing my walk. These beautiful indoor pillow cases in various sizes serve as statement pieces, making any room very special.
