This oracle carries a stalk of Torch Ginger in her hands. It is called the Torch Ginger because the shape of the dried flower head is the shape of an extinguished torch, thus bringing to mind life in the “old Hawai`i.” Torch Ginger does not have a discernable fragrance, but it definitely has an arresting beauty and presence, even after it has withered and turned brown.

She reminds us to bravely move forward through life in dignity and poise, boldly sharing our love, beauty, and strength with the world.
