Inspiration surrounds you, not just sometimes, but all the time! All you need do is open your eyes of awareness to see the things that capture your attention. I’ve been noticing the patterns of sidewalk cracks (aka stress fractures) for years. In the beginning, I used them to form the composition of my paintings. It’s only recently that they’ve become part of the subject.
