Honu (turtles) and Dolphins are both beloved creatures of the sea. They live in abundance in the waters off the Hawaiian Islands. While I’ve never seen them play together, it brought joy to my heart to think of them as playing games with balls and bubbles in the ocean.

Play is an action that benefits all of us, when we remember to take the time to play! We tend to take ourselves, our lives, our tasks too seriously. It’s not that we shouldn’t take our lives, our tasks, or ourselves seriously; it’s more that we need to do so with a grain of salt and a hefty dose of balance.

Life is precious and meaningful, not to be wasted or spent worrying about what might happen or what has happened. We each have one day at a time in which to live. Let’s do so to our fullest ability, remembering that FUN and PLAY are part of a happy, well-balanced life.

May these playful creatures tickle your fancy and remind you to PLAY!
