This painting shows the progression of the seasons, the golden browns of autumn giving way to the bright, life force greens of spring. The funny thing is that our seasons are subtle and not easily delineated. Fronds change color and fall to the ground all year round.

Our own inner seasons can shift as subtly and easily too. Give yourself a moment in time to close your eyes, draw your attention within, and take a deep breath. When you reopen your eyes, does the world feel or look differently to you? Have you changed into a different season of being?
