Hawai‘i is a land of many sights and symbols, not the least of which is the dormant the volcano, Leahi, also known as Diamond Head. It’s a steep climb with wonderful views from the top. If you haven’t yet made the trek, to do so early in the day, take your camera, water, a small flash light, and be ready to climb stairs. Another fun way to experience Diamond Head, is on one of the catamarans.

The Hawaiian islands are situated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. They are the most remote islands in the world, meaning they are the farthest from any other land mass in the world. No wonder it takes so long to get here!

The Pacific Ocean, the deepest ocean on earth, has some of the stormiest seas. We are often told to never turn our back on Mother Ocean, because we never know when a rogue wave might come to shore. The waters are also like a giant salt spa. Simply sit along the shore and watch the water. When your energy is sufficiently restored, wade in and allow the waters to heal you.
