Here we see Pele in all her strength and glory. Standing tall, almost defiant, lava runs down her back as though hair upon her head. She is in the process of giving birth to the Hawaiian Islands.

Pele stands tall to remind us to stand tall in our beliefs, to give birth to our dreams, and to protect our confidence at all cost. While none of us are islands, we can all learn from these lands we all Hawai`i.
